Kuze ( Feedback instrument, 2021)
Performance at ZHdK
Kuze” is a feedback instrument crafted from ceramics. The instrument’s concept is simple: a ceramic object riddled with five large holes and four smaller ones. A microphone is embedded in the instrument, and feedback is engendered through these smaller apertures using a small speaker. The arrangement of holes on the object corresponds to the potential feedback spaces. By opening or closing a hole, the frequency of the generated feedback undergoes modulation.
The resultant feedback is channeled through a granulator and resynthesis patch programmed in Max MSP. Three modules—Soundhack Make Noise, Soma Lyra, and Panharmonium—are employed to further process the feedback, contributing to the instrument’s sonic character.

a sonic objective association, the smell of all elements.
If the language does not exist in my words,
Maybe it does in my room, Or in our rooms.
Maybe they are canceling my waves.
maybe the source is their fundamental structure.
and your structural decisions Sense the reflection Of the decision, of the structure.
There is no end in the moonless state.
Or who knows,
maybe the resonance Of my skin appears in your echolocation.
And yes the spectrum is occupied by their domination.
It‘s so loud I can‘t talk, It’s so loud I can’t breathe,
It’s so loud I can’t Rest, It‘s so loud I can‘t hear,
I can‘t listen.
By all means Your Noise might be the power, which welled
Having said that, The glamour of our source, Is to stand, to endure. It is resistance.
